A- Honorary Doctorate Degrees Conferred by HAER

  1. Doctor of Laws
  2. Doctor of Social Science
  3. Doctor of Music
  4. Doctor of Political Science
  5. Doctor of Art
  6. Doctor of General Health
  7. Doctor of Medicine
  8. Doctor of Community Social Responsibility (CSR)

 

Note: Any other programs which is benefit and agreed by HAER board.

 B- Criteria:

  1. Service to the Community at Large or to a Profession or Discipline
  2. Appropriateness to a Special Anniversary
  3. Service to the Academy – HAER
  4. Intellectual distinction in particular fields
  5. Outstanding achievement in professional and/or personal capacities
  6. Significant and lasting contributions to society

C- Eligibility: 

  1. Individuals who have demonstrated the appropriate criteria are eligible for nomination, with the exception of those individuals who are current members of HAER Board, faculty or staff currently employed by the HAER
  2. Generally, honorary degrees shall not be awarded in absentia, except when awarded posthumously.
